Our Brisbane Risk and Controls Solutions team partner with clients to improve their risk profile by identifying, quantifying and managing risk associated with their business, across a range of risk disciplines including market and operational risk, governance and compliance, data analytics and forensic services.

 

Renowned as thought leaders in the risk market, our team of specialists partner with Global and Local companies in the Energy, Retail, Financial Services, Resources and Government sector.

 

What our Brisbane Risk and Governance practice is looking for:

A motivated and ambitious Manager wishing to apply their practical skills and experience to a range of challenging Risk based consulting engagements. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Advising clients on appropriate operational risk, compliance, regulatory and governance frameworks and processes.
  • Developing strategies for clients to respond or adapt to regulatory changes or enforcements arising from business diversification, acquisition or legislative changes.
  • Reviewing, designing and implementing key business processes to meet risk and regulatory requirements.
  • Building profitable relationships with potential and existing clients that help grow the risk business whilst actively contributing to relevant external thought leadership      
  • Managing and coaching others within the team to help build an inclusive and positive working environment.

 

Key characteristics preferred are:

 

  • Established Operational Risk, Compliance and Governance skills coupled with a solid knowledge of the regulatory environment and risk based requirements.
  • A tertiary qualification in a related Business, Accounting or Commerce discipline.
  • Exceptional client service skills - evidence of an ability to build and maintain client relationships, and a proactive approach in managing engagements and seeking ways to add value.
  • Strong relationship and communication skills that allow you to build internal networks both within the team and wider firm.
