| A Practical Application of ISO 31000:2009 to the Management of Disruption
Due to popular demands for our outstanding Business Continuity Management Workshop in May 2010; RMIA NSW invites you to a unique one-day workshop on new and advanced concepts in risk management for public, private and not-for-profit organisations. It will establish a valuable foundation for understanding modern risk management techniques in both routine and non-routine environments.
The workshop will be presented in a number of formats, comprising interlinked seminars dealing with theoretical aspects of risk management, case studies demonstrating principles and practices, and training in the practical application of tools that can be applied within individual organisations. A particular focus of the workshop will be the practical implementation of an approach for managing disruption-related risk and dealing with non-routine events. This will use concepts from the new AS/NZS 5050 Business Continuity: managing disruption-related risk standard which is an application of the new international standard for risk management AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009.
