The Certified Practicing Risk Manager (CPRM) accreditation is for strategic managers of risk; providing status and recognition among professional peers and potential employers/clients.
The new CPRM assessment follows the electronic submission of a portfolio of evidence (ePortfolio), through the CPRM Application Portal, to address twelve attributes covering integrated management, strategic risk management, and operational risk management. Find out more about the CPRM Attributes.
Entry Requirements
If you believe that you possess the attributes listed and can provide documentary evidence please refer to the CPRM Entry Requirements to see that you also meet the minimum level of experience required.
Application Process
If you are eligible to apply for CPRM accreditation you will need to go through the following process:
- Download and read through the CPRM Application Pack and make sure you understand the purpose and what is expected.
- Fill in the CPRM Application Form and Ethical Practice Reference Form and send both completed forms, along with the assessment fee (A$220) to cprm@rmia.org.au or fax it to ( 61 3) 9642 4166.
- If your initial application is approved you will be contacted to arrange for the payment of the assessment fee (A$660). Once payment has been authorised/processed, you will be sent your login details and a link to the RMIA CPRM Application Portal where you will need to address all of the attributes individually, uploading supporting documentation to endorse your application.
- Our independent assessors will examine your application and determine if you meet the requirements of CPRM accreditation. Due to the complexity of this process it can take up to six weeks for results to be determined.
- If your application has been approved you will then be sent out your CPRM certificate along with your CPRM badge.
