Women in Risk presented by Swiss Re Corporate Solutions is a networking initiative by RMIA to connect and celebrate women in risk. The forum offers attendees to engage and interact with like minded individuals, while supporting the presence of women in the risk management industry. In recognition of International Womens Day, RMIA invites you to be apart of an ongoing conversation this March.

International Womens Day is a call for action for global leaders to think and act in a gender inclusive manner. Equality is seen as a social, economic and political opportunity, which RMIA wish to establish awareness around the dialogue that follows successful women.

Gender equality is not a struggle for women to be led by women. It is, in fact, a human rights issue and requires male participation.

“I asked my boss, ‘Why does the man get to read the first story every night? Why can’t we alternate reading the first story every night?’ And he said, ‘Sure, I don’t see why not,’ and that taught me early on, if you don’t ask, you don’t get... To affect change, we must all take risks.” – Tracey Spicer

“Embrace disruption, stop asking for permission, educate and influence. Don’t expect those who don’t experience it to understand it.” - Amna Karra-Hassan
