The RMIA is a public unlisted company governed by its Constitution, with a Board drawn from Members and volunteer non-executive directors with specialist expertise. The Board is supported by a full time Chief Executive and a Secretariat based in Sydney. Services are delivered through Chapters located in each state and territory managed through local Chapter Committees.

Advisory Board

An Advisory Board made up of the Chapter Presidents provides member feedback to the Board through the Vice-President who represents the Chapters on the Board.

Executive Committees

The Board is also advised by three key Executive Committees, each chaired by a Director and made up of representatives from every Chapter Committee. These committees have carriage of policy development and execution.
