In the continuing effort to professionalise the resilience industry, RMIA is currently supporting a Special Interest Group (SIG) working on Organisational Resilience. An expert panel of practitioners from around Australia are currently working on a 12 month project, focusing on good practice and implementation around organisational resilience, culminating in an RMIA sponsored white paper to be released at the 2016 RMIA National Conference.
The RMIA, led by president Anthony Ventura have been very proactive in supporting the new role that resilience plays in the wider risk community, with several exciting initiatives in the pipeline. The synergies between organisational resilience and risk management are well known, with both disciplines being at the forefront of an organisations proactive measures for defence against disruption.
