CPD – Maintaining Your Certification


WHAT IS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN YOUR RMIA CERTIFICATION?

In addition to maintaining membership with RMIA, Certified member must also meet their Continuing Professional Development Requirements (CPD) by:

  • Maintaining knowledge and skills that are appropriate for their activities and responsibilities, and are consistent with the training standards;
  • Updating their knowledge and skills, especially in areas where there is continual change (e.g. legislation, regulatory policies and standards, and new market practices) and
  • Developing new knowledge and skills to assist with their current role or roles contemplated in the future

Members holding any RMIA Certification must certify that they have enhanced their knowledge through professional development program by completing CPD as required within each 12-month period. Points are accumulated over a 3-year period and audited at the end of each 3-year cycle.
