You will be required to complete the CPRA Examination. On receipt of your application, the RMIA will contact you to arrange your enrolment for a suitable location and date.
Results of the CPRA Examination are final. A pass in the CPRA Examination is required in order to be awarded CPRA certification.
The CPRA Examination Application Fee is $330 and includes CPRA certification for one year from the date of passing the CPRA Examination. The CPRA Examination Application Fee is non-refundable.
Under genuine extenuating circumstances approved by RMIA, once enrolled you may change the date of your CPRA Examination once only. If you do not undertake the CPRA Examination on the second occasion, your application will be cancelled and your CPRA Examination Application Fee forfeited. You will need to complete a new application.
How do I Apply for RMIA CPRA Certification?
Once you have paid for your RMIA CPRA Application, please go to "My Portal", scroll to the bottom and click on "My RMIA Certification Applications". Once you are on this page, please click on "Create CPRA Application". Please fill out all of the information in the CPRA Application and click "Submit". Once we receive your application, the RMIA will review and either decline or approve your application. If Approved, you will receive an email with details on how to proceed with the CPRA Examination. If Declined, we will ask for any additional information needed for approval.
Following the first year of CPRA certification, an annual renewal fee of $115 is payable.
