The Manager, Risk will support the Director, Performance, Risk and Program Management to manage and evolve the enterprise risk function of Homes Victoria. Given the strategic importance of effective risk management for the delivery of strategic programs and organisational effectiveness, this role is an integral to boosting the organisation's capabilities with fit for purpose risk management policies, procedures and enterprise-wide risk identification, management and reporting practices.
The Manager, Risk (leading a dedicated risk team) is the point of focus for building risk capability, oversighting implementation of a tailored risk framework and continuing to embed a strong risk culture at Homes Victoria. You will work with internal stakeholders to provide risk advice and support as part of a cross-organisational lift in risk awareness and capability. Equally, the risk function works closely with DFFH's Chief Risk Officer (and team), connecting Homes Victoria portfolio risks with the whole of portfolio risk management approach.
- Are you a experienced Risk professional who has supported large scale infrastructure-related programs covering a diverse set of enterprise- and program-specific risks and issues?
- Equipped with demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Victorian Government Risk Management Framework and other related enterprise and infrastructure-related government policies?
- Effective at collaborating to build risk management policies, procedures and practices that are fit for purpose and demonstrate impact and value to an organisation?
- Passionate about leading and engaging others to enhance risk awareness and management in a dynamic and ever-changing environment?
