Senior Risk Advisor

The Senior Risk Advisor role has been created as part of a dedicated capability to enhance the risk identification, awareness, and management across Homes Victoria as it effectively delivers on the Big Housing Build and other commitments. Given the strategic importance of effective risk management for the delivery of strategic programs and organisational effectiveness, this role will work with the broader Performance, Risk and Program Management team and the other Homes Victoria branches to enhance the organisation’s capabilities with fit for purpose approaches to risk management policies and procedures.

You will work with internal stakeholders to provide risk advice and support as part of a cross-organisational lift in risk awareness and capability. Equally, the risk function works closely with DFFH’s Chief Risk Officer (and team), connecting Homes Victoria portfolio risks with the whole of department risk management approach.

Are You: 

  • An experienced risk professional who has supported large scale infrastructure-related programs covering a diverse set of enterprise- and program-specific risks and issues?
  • Equipped with demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Victorian Government Risk Management Framework and other related enterprise and infrastructure-related government policies?
  • Effective at collaborating to implement risk management policies, procedures and practices that are fit for purpose and demonstrate impact and value to an organisation?
  • Passionate about leading and engaging others to enhance risk awareness and management in a dynamic and ever-changing environment?
