Graduate Certificate in Organisational Resilience, Risk and High Reliability (11056NAT) RTO #4785
This qualification will give you the skills and knowledge to manage risk and business disruption in today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous operating environment. Through a unique approach combining elements, tools, and best practice from risk management, leadership, psychology, behavioural economics, and organisational development, graduates will be able to lead teams and organisations to achieve organisational resilience and high reliability.
This nationally accredited program is only offered through the Institute of Presilience® (RTO #4785).
About
Presilience® is effectively Risk Intelligence in practice.
It is the mindset and approach that enables you to successfully prevent (where possible), prepare for, respond to, and recover from events, crises, or emergencies – whilst still being able to look for, identify and capitalise on opportunities.
With the world’s current Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) environment, never has the demand on our ability to build not just resilience, but also Presilience®, within a team or organisation been so critical to long-term success.
The course is delivered by the Institute of Presilience® (RTO#4785). Australian Nationally Recognised Skills Certificate including the following units will be issued upon successful completion:
- NAT11056001 – Integrate the psychology of risk to decision making
- NAT11056002 – Lead teams and influence risk-based decision making
- NAT11056003 – Manage disruption, crisis, and opportunity
- NAT11056004 – Implement and review organisational high reliability
Course Overview
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who undertake specialist resilience and risk management roles, both internally and externally to an organisation. These roles include cross-industry tasks and responsibilities relating to corporate governance and risk management, business continuity, crisis management, leadership, innovation, and high reliability teams.
Individuals in these roles have autonomy in performing tasks, apply solutions to a range of often complex and ambiguous problems, and research, analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They apply their initiative to plan and respond, to lead teams, to manage change, to coordinate and evaluate courses, to challenge and facilitate risk-based conversations, and to establish and maintain high reliability teams.
Mode of Delivery
Online, virtual classroom.
