We would like to invite you to the RMIA and IIA-Australia presentation and panel discussion on Better Together - Mental Health for the individual & the organisation.
This two-part webinar dives first into the topic of mental health care for the individual.
The second part of the webinar will have our panellists with different professional backgrounds and roles in various industries enter into a dialogue on how Internal Audit and Risk Management can value add in this area in our organisations.

Dr Adrian Allen
Adrian is director and principal clinical psychologist at the Healthy Mind Clinic in Sydney's CBD. He specialises in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, relationship concerns, work and life stress, burnout, perfectionism, and other emotional difficulities. He spent years working at the Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety and Depression at St Vincent's Hosptial, Sydney, where he continues active research colloborations. He has worked at the Kiloh Centre at the Prince of Wales Hospital and the Anxiety Treatment and Research Unit at Westmead Hospital. He is a conjoint lecturer for the School of Psychology at the University of New South Wales, a lecturer for the NSW Health Education and Training Institute (formerly the NSW Institute of Psychiatry), a member of the WHO Global Clinical Practice Network and provides clinical supervision to practicing psychologists and clinical trainees. His research is published in peer-reviewed journals and he presents regularly at national and international conferences. Prior to working as a clincial psychologist, he was a consultant in business strategy at Accentrure.
Jem Fuller coaches and facilitates for CEO’s and senior leaders across government, private and Not for Profit sectors. He helps develop more mindful and conscious leaders with healthier work-place cultures.
Jem is also the founding director and facilitator of his own international leadership retreat company. He takes leaders away on Conscious Leader programs to the remote Indian Himalaya, Bali, the Kimberley and Costa Rica.
Jem has led a very colourful life. From years of barefoot backpacking around the India subcontinent to senior leader with a multi-national company, he has been to the extremes.
Jem has worked as a Reflexologist, Chinese Masseuse, Reiki Practitioner, kindergarten teacher in Asia, a global tattooist, fire dancer, motorcycle courier, actor, singer/songwriter, travel consultant and prior to commencing his coaching practise, in senior leadership.
Education: Jem completed high school at Xavier College, Melbourne, and has since studied various healing arts, Coaching, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Human Behavioural Profiling.
Ian Firth, State Inspector at Safe Work NSW
Ian is currently the State Inspector for the Psychological Health and Safety Team at SafeWork NSW. He has a background in Clinical Psychology and providing workplace support services. Ian's role at Safe Work NSW involves contributing to strategy, policy and guidance around psychological health at the state and national level, providing advice to industry and the Inspectorate, and responding to complex matters and investigations.
Jade Veverka, People & Culture Manager at BPAY Group
Jade Veverka is the People & Culture Manager at BPAY Group. Coming from a solid generalist background, Jade’s role encompasses the breadth of the People & Culture space, with a particular focus and passion on the engagement and employee experience of BPAY Group team members. Jade has been instrumental in BPAY Group's award winning P&C team and people-first culture and, is responsible for leading the charge on supporting the health and wellbeing of the team during the pandemic.
Adriaan Den Dulk Chief Risk Officer at the CFA
Adriaan is an experienced Governance, Risk & Insurance practitioner who has specialised in the coordination and implementation of large national and state level projects in the corporate and government sectors.
He also assisted organisations in understanding and quantifying their risk exposures so that the most suitable insurance & risk, governance and resilience building strategies and programmes can be tailored to best meet their organisational needs.
A Certified Insurance Practitioner, a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and an active member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (facilitator for 15 years in Strategy and Risk in the Company Directors Course, the Foundations of Directors Course, as well as the Integrity in Government Course).
