The SA Chapter of RMIA is pleased to invite you to our risk management roundtable.

Part workshop, part discussion; this event will explore some contemporary approaches to building resilience through the implementation of risk management activities in your organisation.

RMIA, in partnership with Deloitte’s Resilience Manager, Bob Walker, present Ian Tanner from CFS and Shane Bolton from CALHN who will guide you through practical solutions to manage risk with real-life examples from past SA bushfires and the recent Coronavirus outbreak.

Shane Bolton; Manager, Disaster Resilience at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN)

Shane is the Manager, Disaster Resilience at CALHN and is based at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He is responsible for overseeing emergency and disaster management, business continuity and security operations across numerous hospitals and community service sites. Shane was also the project lead for the Human Disease risk assessment using the National Emergency Risk Assessment Guidelines, with a specific focus on Pandemic Influenza.

Ian Tanner; A/Manager Fire, Adelaide & Mount Lofty Ranges
at Department of Environment and Water

Ian has been an Incident Controller (IC) on behalf of the Country Fire Service for the pre-formed State (level 3 incident) Re-Team since 2009. As an IC Ian was deployed to the Kangaroo Island Ravine, Pinery and Sampson Flat fires and the Gawler River Flood. He has been deployed to the US and Canada as a Divisional Commander and Canada as the Australian Liaison Officer. He was awarded the Australian Fire Service medal in 2016 for his contribution to fire management, particularly prescribed burning.
