VIC Chapter Risk Cuppa - A Risky Way to Start the Day
A Risky Way to Start the Day
To kick off the year the Vic RMIA chapter have our first informal risk gathering coming up on Thursday 7th March. This is an opportunity to bring your risky questions to the table and discuss these with like-minded risk practitioners over a cuppa. What does good risk management look like? What risky challenges are you facing? In the spirit of “a problem shared is a problem halved”, these may be:
- How do I prove to management the value add of risk management?
- No-one in the organisation understands the key changes to ISO31000
- The concept of risk culture is becoming confused with organisational culture
- Risk appetite is great in theory, but is difficult to embed in the BAU
But we want to hear from YOU. What do you want to discuss with the group? Please drop a line on our LinkedIn page about the risky topics you want discuss (and hopefully we can resolve these together). Otherwise we will just see you on the day.
The morning chat will work like this:
We meet at the spacious Bourke & Wills café (http://bourkeandwills.com.au) at 8am on Thursday 7th March. Grab yourself a cuppa and a bite if you wish and take a seat in the outdoor area for our group chat. Walk away 60 minutes later inspired and armed with new solutions and new tactics for dealing with your risky challenges. There is no cost for attending (except for the cuppa, if you choose to), and the take home value is FREE!
So, send us your risky challenges, and let us know who will be there at our first Risky Way to Start the Day.
