Wyndham City is offering a rare opportunity to work in one of the fastest growing municipalities in Victoria. The Contracts, Procurement and Risk Management Department is seeking a motivated and driven leader with a values-based approach to join its leadership group.
This role will lead a dedicated specialist team to deliver assurance and review services to maintain Council operating in an ethical, compliant and effective manner.
Your leadership and technical expertise will oversee the successful delivery of assurance and review services to Council in relation to organisational compliance, fraud and corruption control, insurance and internal review. Reporting to the Manager Contracts, Procurement and Risk Management, you will be responsible for fostering a work environment and culture where staff are committed to integrity, transparency, professionalism and good corporate governance.
Tertiary qualifications in business, law, compliance or other related discipline, coupled with extensive expertise and experience in compliance and / or insurance coupled with your strong organisational and interpersonal skills are essential prerequisites for your success in this opportunity.
