The Risk and Compliance Department at Wyndham City is looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to join as the Risk and Continuity Advisor. Wyndham City is located on the western edge of Melbourne, between the metropolitan area and Geelong.
Wyndham covers an area of 542km 2 and is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Australia with a diverse and growing population. Reporting to the Manager Risk and Compliance, you will take the lead in delivering Wyndham’s Enterprise Risk Management System, and provide specialist expertise to drive continuous improvement across the organisation. You will play an important role in creating a sustainable risk management culture and provide comprehensive advice to all levels of the organisation.
To be successful in this role you have, or will be working towards a tertiary qualifications (diploma, degree, post graduate) in a risk management, business or a related discipline, and have demonstrated previous experience in risk management, business continuity and / or insurance. Good interpersonal and negotiating skills and the ability to develop strategy and policy are also prerequisites.
