Wyndham City is offering a rare opportunity to work in one of the fastest growing municipalities in Victoria. The Contracts, Procurement and Risk Management Department is seeking a motivated and driven leader with a values-based approach to join its leadership group.


This role will lead a dedicated specialist team to support the safety and protection of people and property through effective emergency management and corporate security arrangements.


Your leadership and expertise will ensure the readiness and capability of Council municipal and facilities emergency management arrangements, and the effectiveness of corporate security arrangements.  Reporting to the Coordinator Safety, Security and Emergency, you will play a key leadership role in fostering a safe and secure environment for council staff and the community.


Higher formal qualifications in emergency management and / or security management or another related discipline, coupled with strong expertise and demonstrated experience are essential. Local government experience is desirable, however your well-developed organisational and interpersonal skills are essential prerequisites for your success in this opportunity.
