The National Disability Insurance Scheme is about providing choice and control to eligible people with disability. It is the insurance that gives peace of mind to those living with disabilities, which can affect anyone at any time.
Two Branch Manager roles are required in related areas of the Agency. Each role requires the capacity to build organisational culture and capabilities and contribute to the broader organisation as a senior executive leader. They will each have a strong collaborative and collegiate orientation and be committed to building a diverse, inclusive, disability confident Agency. These are SES Band 1 roles in the Commonwealth Public Service.

Branch Manager, Insurance & Research (Geelong & Sydney based)
Establish and implement the NDIA data warehouse, set up in a way which ensures all stakeholder needs are met, including information to participants, families/carers, service providers, governments, and other areas of the NDIA. The role also
includes monitoring and evaluating operational performance through research, operational reporting, analysing trends and facilitating a shared understanding between the operational business and actuarial.
Branch Manager, Enterprise Strategy & Risk (Geelong based)
Lead NDIA’s strategic and corporate planning and enable governance of the risks – and related opportunities. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, the role will champion a risk management culture to tackle risks to strategic objectives and service delivery. The role oversees internal and external audit programs, and is responsible for fraud prevention and its detection and response.
