About the Role:

The Enterprise Risk Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Senior Manager – Enterprise Risk in implementing the organisation’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. This will involve co-ordinating and monitoring risk activities, assisting in the preparation and delivery of education to uplift organisational risk capability, assisting the Senior Manager in facilitating risk identification and review workshops, and configuring and maintaining risk management software to ensure it is fit for purpose.

The Enterprise Risk team at RSL Queensland operates as a centre of excellence model, providing expert risk advice to Senior Leaders organisation wide. With the support, coaching and mentoring of an experienced and certified Senior Manager, the successful candidate will undertake on the job training, accompanied by formal education to build their capability as a risk professional, with an aim to progress to Enterprise Risk Advisor in the future.

About you:

  • Committed to learning and have a genuine desire to pursue a long-term career in enterprise risk management.

  • Willing to undertake a formal risk education program and obtain relevant risk certifications post probationary period.

  • Have some understanding of business operations across a range of business functions.

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build productive relationships with staff at all levels within an organisation.

  • Strong administrative skills, including experience with the Microsoft Suite (mandatory) and reporting dashboards (desirable).

  • Experience in the administration and management of systems and/or implementation of enterprise-wide systems will be highly regarded.
