About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Specialist to lead the implementation and enhancement of operational risk frameworks, including business continuity programs and service provider governance. Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, this role is pivotal in ensuring ongoing compliance with CPS 230 Operational Risk Management requirements. The Operational Risk Specialist will play a key role in strengthening Police Health’s operational resilience and supporting the delivery of critical services to our members.
With initiative, an eye for detail and excellent communication and engagement skills, you will work within a small team to support key leaders and internal and external stakeholders in protecting and sustaining critical operations, continued services and the minimisation of disruptions.
A tertiary qualification in risk, business continuity or a related discipline, in addition to demonstrated experience within business continuity and organisational resilience and an understanding of the relevant operational risk management standards is essential for success in this role.
This position represents an exciting opportunity to directly contribute to the ongoing maturity of Police Health’s organisational resilience and, ultimately, the delivery of quality, member focused health insurance services to the critically important Police and Emergency Services sectors throughout Australia.
