Join RMIA and PMI for an evening of connection and insight, bringing together risk professionals and project managers to explore the intersection of risk and delivery. The event will feature a focused presentation on the defence sector, followed by a panel discussion with experienced practitioners sharing practical perspectives on managing risk in complex project environments.
Designed to foster collaboration across disciplines, this session provides an opportunity to exchange ideas, build networks, and strengthen the integration of risk and project management in practice.
The evening begins with a keynote presentation by David Dietz, Senior Director of Supply Chain and Qualification Services at H&B Defence. Drawing on more than 30 years of international defence experience, David will share practical insights into defence capability, supplier qualification, complex supply chains and the critical success factors that underpin major defence programs.
Following the presentation, an executive panel featuring senior project and risk leaders will explore how organisations can move beyond traditional risk registers to integrate risk thinking into project delivery, governance, decision making and organisational culture. Through practical examples and real-world experiences, the discussion will examine how risk and project professionals can work together to improve delivery outcomes in increasingly complex environments.
