In this role, you will:
Lead and continuously improve ActewAGL’s Business Resilience Framework to ensure it remains robust and fit-for-purpose.
Drive business continuity planning, including Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), risk assessments, and testing protocols.
Coordinate crisis and incident response activities, support executive decision-making, and lead post-incident reviews.
Promote a culture of resilience through training, awareness initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.
Manage resilience tools and technologies, including Noggin 2.0, and explore innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operational, safety, risk, legal, and executive teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including Emergency Services, ACT Government, regulators, and strategic partners.
About You
You will bring:
Relevant qualifications in risk management, business continuity, emergency/crisis management, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in business continuity and emergency/crisis management, ideally within the energy or critical infrastructure sectors.
Proven ability to conduct BIAs and resilience assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
Experience in coordinating incident response and recovery efforts.
Strong facilitation skills in training and exercising crisis response teams.
Deep understanding of resilience frameworks such as ISO 22301.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the energy/utilities sector.
Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
