Senior Advisor - Enterprise Risk

Reporting To: Manager Risk, Quality and Compliance
This full-time permanent role will report to the Manager Risk Quality and Compliance within the Risk Assurance and Health Safety Environment and Quality division. This position supports the strategically important enterprise risk management program from end to end.
You will be well versed in all aspects of enterprise risk management and able to contribute to and support Fremantle Ports as an enabling function.
This is a critical role and requires someone who can join the team with confidence from day one. Your ability to communicate in a clear, succinct and concise manner, and consult and collaborate across all levels of the organisation will help you to succeed in this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and associated policies and procedures/systems.
Support the development of effective strategies for the management of enterprise risk activities.
Develop and embed processes and systems to identify, evaluate and address emerging risk.
Consult, collaborate and support risk owners in the timely reviews of risks and associated actions and control assurance.
Build and leverage relationships across the business to develop and implement ERM improvement initiatives.
Provision of ERM advice to senior leadership team and function managers on the management of risks across the business.
Lead the development, maintenance and delivery of the Enterprise Risk Management Training program.
Maintain the ERM system including administration, configuration management and risk data management.
Prepare appropriate Board, Audit and Risk Committee and Executive Leadership Team reports, including performance dashboards as required.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Strategic thinker with the ability to align risk management practices with business objectives.
Tertiary qualification (Business, Commerce, Engineering, Risk Management, or other relevant academic degree).
Understanding and experience applying risk management frameworks and relevant standards’ including ISO 31000.
8+ years’ experience developing, implementing and embedding Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
A sound understanding of risk in operational and project environments.
Demonstrated levels of commercial / business acumen.
Experience in developing and delivering risk management education programs.
Experience in establishing and maintaining enterprise risk management reporting software systems / solutions.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage people in risk management.
Experience in risk assessment workshop facilitation.
Excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to identify issues and solve problems.
Desirable
Industry specific experience, including exposure to critical infrastructure and maritime industry.
Experience of development and implementation of control assurance frameworks, and the CGR Foundation application.
