RiskNZ CEO David Turner stepping down

It's never easy saying goodbye to someone who has been such an important part of an organisation's journey.

After years of dedicated service, our CEO David Turner has decided to leave RiskNZ to focus on growing his own business.

David has been instrumental in helping RiskNZ grow from a relatively small professional association into a thriving community of more than 1,400 members representing over 60 industries. Along the way he strengthened partnerships, expanded our sponsorship community, launched successful initiatives, guided the organisation through COVID, and helped make risk management relevant and accessible to a much broader audience across New Zealand.

Most importantly, David leaves RiskNZ stronger than he found it.

David, thank you for your energy, leadership, friendship, and unwavering belief in the value of our profession. We wish you every success for the future and look forward to seeing what comes next.

RiskNZ remains in a strong position, and we are excited about the next chapter for both David and the organisation.
