About the Event
Risk management is full of beliefs that have become standard practice.
They appear in meetings, reports and operating models every day. They shape decisions. They determine where accountability sits. And too often, they go unchallenged simply because they have become familiar.
But familiar does not always mean right.
The Risk on Trial webinar, ran in partnership between Riskonnect and RMIA, takes some of risk management’s most widely held beliefs to the dock.
This live, courtroom-style debate asks whether the beliefs guiding risk management still hold up and pushes the conversation beyond the usual safe answers.
A Jury of senior practitioners spanning cyber and technology risk, major infrastructure and enterprise risk will put each myth under the spotlight. They will debate it live, bring their own real-world perspectives to the table, stand behind the views they genuinely hold, and share what they would do differently in their own organisations before delivering their verdict: Guilty or Not Guilty.
But before they do, you make the first call. Cast your vote before the debate begins, then see whether the jury agrees with you, challenges your view, or changes your mind entirely.
Whatever verdict lands, you will leave with a sharper perspective on the assumptions shaping your organization, and at least one practical idea to take back with you.
If you are ready to challenge the assumptions shaping your organisation’s approach to risk, then don’t miss the opportunity to take your seat in the court.
