About the Event

We’re kicking off the 2025 RMIA Risk Leader Tour in Brisbane with a refreshed, more relaxed format that puts connection and real conversation front and centre.

Join us for a vibrant evening at one of the city’s top venues, starting with networking drinks and canapés before settling in for an intimate fireside chat with Peter Taylor, RMIA’s 2025 Risk Leader of the Year, and special guest Kate Gannon, 2025 Risk Consultant of the Year. The conversation, facilitated by RMIA CEO Simon Levy, will dive into the career journeys, challenges, and practical advice from two of the most respected voices in the profession. Then, the floor opens to you – bring your questions and get involved in a dynamic audience Q&A.

A main meal will follow, with more time to mingle, catch up with peers, and meet new faces in the risk community.

This event is for every kind of risk professional – whether you’re new to the industry, leading a team, or looking for a fresh perspective. Perfect for team building or just taking a moment to reconnect with what brought you to risk in the first place.
