About Event

Join the SA/NT RMIA Chapter for our Risk Social – a relaxed, engaging evening for risk professionals to connect, collaborate, and contribute to our community’s future. It’s not just a networking event, but also a mini strategy session where we’ll brainstorm how to make our 2026 activities more meaningful and impactful. Enjoy great company and conversation with peers across the industry as we collectively shape the direction of our chapter for the year ahead.

What to Expect

  • Network with Peers: Meet and mingle with fellow risk professionals from across the industry in a casual setting. It’s a great opportunity to expand your professional circle and share experiences in a relaxed atmosphere.

  • Collaborative Planning: Based on the Business Model Reinvention presented by Katherine Cobb for PwC at the recent Risk Odyssey, participate in a mini-strategy workshop aimed at shaping our 2026 event calendar. Bring your ideas for topics, formats, or initiatives – everything from emerging risk themes you’re passionate about to new ways the chapter can support its members. We’re open to bold ideas and will capture everyone’s input.

  • Shape the Future: This is a collaborative forum where your voice matters. Whether you’re keen to suggest discussion topics, propose innovative event formats, or simply offer feedback on what you’d like from the RMIA chapter, this is your chance to contribute. Together, we’ll brainstorm how to build a programme that reflects the needs of our risk community and the rapidly evolving business environment.

Let’s build a vibrant and forward-looking programme together. By attending, you’ll help ensure our chapter remains at the forefront of industry developments and continues to deliver value to all members. We’d love to see you there – come share your ideas, enjoy the camaraderie, and be part of reinventing our journey for 2026!
